It is with great sadness and deep sorrow that we have to inform you that our senior partner Otto Vollmann passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on June 16, 2024 at the age of almost 98. After the war, in which he had to serve for another two years, Otto Vollmann rebuilt the company from its humble beginnings at the age of 19 and, with diligence and courage, led it to become a major supplier to the lighting industry. In doing so, he created the basis for today’s group of companies. With great flair and foresight, he placed the management of the company in the hands of his son Axel in 1986. son Axel in 1986 and continued to support him in word and deed. Father and son always always formed an axis of mutual trust. Otto Vollmann was not only an outstanding businessman but, as the father of three children father of three children, he was also a loving family man. Liesel, whom he married in 1955, was always at his side in all always by his side in all situations. We will always remember him as a mentor and role model – as a generous person who always always had an open ear for his employees. We will never forget Otto Vollmann.
